Huno was developed at The Other Room in Cardiff and completed a full run in July 2022. It interweaves Welsh and English, myth and reality, the epic and the personal, as we bear witness to the life of one woman caught in the wake of the endeavours of men.

2015-19

Between 2015 and 2019, I was a regular collaborator with Abergavenny-based puppetry company, PuppetSoup, for whom I performed as a puppeteer and storyteller, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and helped to devise and create new shows for national touring. This work included developing bilingual scripts, staging, helping to create and maintain puppets, and collaborating with a diverse team to develop new work for performance with limited time and budgets. With PuppetSoup, I toured extensively around Wales to rural venues and to other venues across the UK.

Director, Macbeth & A Midsummer Night's Dream
2018

In collaboration with Darius Nash, I worked closely with an international school and UX Education / Camp Your Life in Xi'an, China to develop a month-long programme of theatre-making, storytelling, and Shakespeare workshops in Xi'an, working with children and young people aged 7-18. Both programme cohorts culminated in performances - A Midsummer Night's Dream & Macbeth - both co-directed with Darius Nash.
